Designed for versatility, the Sp2/0-Ag14 Luciferase Cell Line seamlessly adapts to a broad spectrum of applications—from promoter activity assays and mammalian two-hybrid studies to sophisticated in vivo imaging.
Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line was obtained through the fusion of spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with sheep red blood cells and P3X63Ag8 myeloma cells. Sp2/0-Ag14 cells do not secrete immunoglobulin, are resistant to 20 μg/mL of 8-azaguanine, and are sensitive to HAT; they can be used as B-cell components during cell fusion for the preparation of hybridomas; they are negative for mouse pox virus.
