Description

Saos-2 cell line is one of the numerous human tumor cell lines isolated and identified by J. Fogh and G. Trempe. The patient had been treated with various drugs, including RTG, methotrexate, adriamycin, vincristine, cytoxan, and aramycin-C. Saos-2 cells are not tumorigenic in immunosuppressed mice, but form colonies in semi-solid medium.
